ICYMI: Doing History "To the Revolution!" sneak peek!

Doing History 2 min read

We are excited to announce a second year of collaboration with Liz Covart, creator of Ben Franklin’s World, in 2017. Together we bring you Doing History: To the Revolution!

Professor Mary Beth Norton kicked off the season early with a sneak peek yesterday. Building on her recent article in the William and Mary Quarterly, Professor Norton asks what drove Bostonians to destroy the tea they found and whether they considered any other less destructive options for their protest.

Fans of Doing History Season 1 will recognize the theme of demonstrating how differently scholars approach, understand, and portray events but will find the distinctions even more striking as the conversations all will center on the same topic: the American Revolution.
