Menu: Remembering Rhys

What an incredibly generous man. Five or six years ago Rhys came to Norfolk from Williamsburg to speak with a group of our undergraduate students about his Landon Carter research. Since he didn’t have transportation, I drove him both ways and was charmed by his unflagging enthusiasm for history, which he was able to convey in nuanced ways, no matter the audience. We will miss him.
