- Honoring Fred Anderson
This note comes from our colleagues at University of Colorado Boulder.
We write, hats in hand, in light of the imminent retirement of beloved University of Colorado Boulder colleague Fred Anderson at the close of the 2017–18 academic year. Fred’s scholarly work hardly needs elaborating to the cadre of early Americanists reading this. What you may not know is that he is also an outstanding teacher and mentor. Just this past year, CU awarded him its highest faculty prize for his distinguished career as scholar-teacher.
To honor Fred, CU Boulder has launched an endowed scholarship fund in his name. He has touched many lives beyond CU. If you would like to join us in celebrating Fred, we would be grateful for your contribution to the Fred Anderson American History Scholarship Fund.
