Other Giving Opportunities

In addition to the annual support of its Associates, the Omohundro Institute seeks support to fund specific projects that help continue the OI’s tradition of both supporting excellence in early American scholarship and exploring new initiatives to enhance this mission.

OI Conference Fund

The Omohundro Institute invites conference participants and others to consider making a contribution to help support the costs associated with the OI’s scholarly meetings, in particular, keeping the registration costs for graduate students and unaffiliated scholars at a modest level to facilitate their participation in the OI’s scholarly community.

OI Postdoctoral Fellowship Fund

To recognize the retirement of OI Director Ronald Hoffman in June 2013, the OI’s Executive Board decided to honor his two decades of leadership by seeking permanent funding support for the OI’s one-year postdoctoral fellowship—establishing the Ronald Hoffman Fund for the Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture One-Year Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the College of William & Mary Foundation.

If you are interested in making a gift to the OI for the Conference Fund or the Hoffman Fund, please contact Shawn Holl, OI director of development, at saholl@wm.edu or 757.221.1141.
