Institute Council Elects New Members
At its annual meeting in May, the Council of the Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture elected five new members. The following began three-year terms on July 1, 2007:

- Sir John Elliott, Oxford University, emeritus, chair
- Michael Meranze, University of California, Los Angeles
- Sally M. Promey, Yale University
