NEH Postdoctoral Fellow —Robert G. Parkinson

Robert Parkinson is an Assistant Professor in the History Department at Shepherd University. He received his Ph.D. in early American history from the University of Virginia in 2005. He recently returned to Shepherd after finishing a NEH postdoctoral fellowship at the Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. He has published articles in the William & Mary Quarterly and Virginia Magazine of History and Biography, and his book manuscript is forthcoming from the University of North Carolina Press.
