Getting There

New Haven, Connecticut, is about two hours northeast of New York City and two and a half hours southwest of Boston. Tweed New Haven Airport, which is served only by U.S. Airways, is ten minutes from the Yale campus by car or taxi. There is frequent shuttle service (Connecticut Limo) from other major airports, including Bradley Airport (serving Hartford-Springfield), LaGuardia Airport, and Newark Airport.

New Haven’s Union Station is served by both Amtrak and Metro North. From Union Station, the conference hotel and venues are about ten minutes by taxi. City buses also run hourly from the station to the New Haven Green. The fare is $1.25. See www.cttransit.com for routes, schedules, and stops.

There are several ways to get around downtown New Haven. An electric trolley, free to all users, loops the downtown area: please see www.infonewhaven.com for a route map. Yale University also operates a shuttle service. Registration packets will include a temporary Yale Shuttle pass.
