Local Transportation
Taxi stands are located at all bus and train terminals, at Logan Airport, and at many subway stations. A one-way taxi ride from Suffolk University to Logan costs $30–45. In the downtown Boston/Beacon Hill area, you can usually hail a cab on the street. All Boston-area cabs charge on a meter basis. The following taxi companies provide service to the Suffolk University area:

Public Transportation
The MBTA (known as the T) offers subway, bus, commuter train, and boat service in and around Boston. It is the most convenient way to get around downtown and to and from the airport. The one-way subway fare is $2.00; the one-way bus fare is $1.50. You can pay cash on the bus (dollar bills are accepted) or buy a prepaid Charlie Ticket that can be used on buses or trains at any T station (cash or credit card accepted).

Park Street Station, across the street from Suffolk University Law School, is the intersection of the Red and Green lines and, having opened in 1897, also the oldest subway station in the United States. Park Street is the center of Boston’s subway system; hence, all trains from Park Street are outbound and all trains heading for Park Street are inbound.

Availability of parking spaces may vary widely, and rates may be high. The Local Arrangements Committee recommends that you check ahead before driving into Boston. Public parking garages in the area include:
