By Car
To reach Williamsburg from I-64, take Exit 238 and follow the signs for Colonial Williamsburg.
For the Woodlands Hotel and Suites, turn left on 132Y and left again at the first opportunity. The directions are clearly marked.
For the Governor’s Inn, stay on 132 (do not turn left on 132Y). The Governor’s Inn will be on your right before you reach the next traffic light at Lafayette Street.
For The Williamsburg Hospitality House, stay on 132 (do not turn left on 132Y). Pass the Governor’s Inn, cross the railroad tracks, and continue straight through the traffic light at Lafayette Street. Take the next right on Scotland Street, which ends at Richmond Road. The Williamsburg Hospitality House is on your right at the corner of Scotland Street and Richmond Road.
For the Conference Services Duty Office, where you will check in for on-campus lodging, follow the directions to the Williamsburg Hospitality House above. Go through the traffic light at Scotland Street and Richmond Road onto Stadium Drive. Take an immediate right onto Alumni Drive (the William and Mary football stadium will be on your left and the Alumni House on your right) and then the first left onto Gooch Drive. Follow Gooch Drive to the parking lot behind the University Center. You may park in any of the spots marked Conference Services 15-minute Guest Parking while you are checking in. The Conference Services Duty Office is up the hill to the right of the University Center.
By Air
Three airports serve Williamsburg: Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (www.nnwairport.com/), Richmond International Airport (www.flyrichmond.com/), and Norfolk International Airport (www.norfolkairport.com/).
Air Tran, Delta, and US Airways fly to Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (PHF). Travel distance between the airport and Williamsburg is approximately one-half hour. Air Tran, American, Continental, Delta, Jet Blue, Northwest, United, and US Airways provide service to Richmond International Airport (RIC). Allow forty-five minutes to one hour for travel between this airport and Williamsburg. There is no shuttle service. Airlines serving Norfolk International Airport (ORF) include American, Continental, Delta, Northwest, Southwest, United, and US Airways. Depending on traffic conditions at the Hampton Roads Bridge/Tunnel, travel time to Williamsburg requires at least an hour.
